FEATURE FILM ANIMATOR COMES TO DETROIT TO GIVE PRESENTATION ON LATEST WORK IN ANIMATED FILM : RIO

Animator Jim Jackson, who has worked on numerous animated feature films such
as The Lion King, Brother Bear, Lilo and Stitch, will give a presentation on May 13th 2011 at
7 P.M. The presentation will cover his career as an animator and show off his recent work on
the animated film RIO at Next Wave Media Studio, 950 Stephenson Hwy in Troy. The public is
welcome and admission is $15 in advanced, $20 at the door.
Jim Jackson currently works for Blue Sky Studios, the studio responsible for animated films
Ice Age, Robots, Horton Hears a Who. Prior to his arrival at Blue Sky Studios he worked as
animator for several video games and a number of projects for Walt Disney Feature Animation.
