Michigan Film Reel

MFR’s recent ongoing project asks Michigan community members to share stories on how the film industry is making a positive economic impact on Michigan’s challenged economy.  Michigan Film Reel supports the Michigan Film Scene and its tax incentives to create jobs and rebuild Michigan’s economy for a prosperous future.

Our mission is to support Film Makers and Talent by connecting, growing, and fostering educational opportunities, for local communities in Michigan.

Jason and Attila, the founders of Michigan Film Reel, also host a film industry networking event every first Sunday of the month, to bring the local community together and to encourage film students to connect with film makers large and small.  These social media events have drawn over 180 people from all over Michigan to attend.
